Here is the cake the children did for their daddy's birthday:
The handprints are oldest son (11) and the youngest girl (1). They didn't get to do much with the frosting, so we used their hands.

Overheard in the van as we drove by some longhorns on the way to get our milk from the Amish farm:
"Look at those horns!"
"Only boy cows have horns."
"Those kind are longhorns and the girls have them, too."
"How can you tell which ones are the girls?"
"They have those squeezer things."Priceless. You never know what you will hear when driving by farms!!

Happy Birthday My Love!!
Today is my dear husband's birthday. His big present is a cordless drill as his old one quit working. The children are making him a cake and cards during school time. We are so happy to celebrate another great birthday!

Happy 3rd Birthday Son!!
Yes, my youngest son is 3 today! He is such a wonderful boy - so full of life. He really wants a little cow (a calf - live), but this is not possible right now so he will have to be happy with 2 stuffed cows (one from the grandparents). He did get the cap guns he wanted. I will post a picture of his cake when I get it downloaded.
